My IOWA 10 on 10

This is my first 10 on 10 EVER.  I am just impressed I actually remembered.  And, since I'm in Iowa, it would be extra special to me.  We had a fun day:
1.  Go Squeez in the morning brought to you by Nick

2.  Flynn Rider likes strawberries.  He is an action figure, not a doll.

3.  I got to drive my niece, Mikayla's, cute little Mazda.  She likes pink and zebra accessories.   We drove to Cedar Rapids and saw "Bridesmaids".  It was funny.  I am a cool Aunt.

4.  We ate at Carlos O'Kellys.  "Oh, Carlos!"  It was a little weird, but so happy to do lunch.

5.  Tailgate with me!  Love Iowa.

6.  Heath Bar getting ready to go into my sister's birthday cake.

7.  Just threw this in.  Love my Dad, too.

8.  My Momma.  Both of my boys asked if we were going to the basement when they saw her put on her coat.  My kids had a tornado warning - go the basement - get your shoes and coat on experience Wednesday night.

9.  Full of it.  :D

10.  My Mikayla and her cool Aunt

2011 - I'm Movin' FORWARD!

I've been thinking of what my motto will be for the year ahead.  I'm picking "movin' forward".  Last year was . . . challenging.  So, I want to use this new year to be motivated to keep moving forward!  Romans 8:28 "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose."  What comfort to know that we never walk alone!  Thank you God for the blessings in my life.

Oh, Yeah! Shutterfly Rocks!

Have you thought about getting your Christmas cards ready . . . now!? Wouldn't it be great to get a jump on things and have your cards already finished!?? I just may do so myself! I would love to say "done" when thinking about what to do about the Christmas card this year. I have used Shutterfly for the past few years and really think they are the best. Here is a link to their website: http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery

What if you are thinking you want to do something different . . how about Thanksgiving cards to send out to those who you are "thankful" for. http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/thanksgiving-cards

Or, if you just want to give yourself a little more time, how about New Years cards. My good friend did this one year and it was a fun thing to get in the mail as the holidays were over. (Kinda like Christmas still in January!) http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery/new-years-cards

If you have never tried Shutterfly, please do. If you have used Shutterfly, you know what I'm talking about when I say they are the best. Like the title says, they ROCK! :D
